An original 1842 stipple engraving of the “La Belle Chocolatieré” by James Posselwhite (1798 1884 engraver) after Jean Etienne Liotard.(1702 1798 artist). Slight foxing to the print otherwise in perfect condition. The inscription below reads;
La Belle Chocolatiere. L’Original faitpartie de la Galerie Royale a Dresdel dedie a Mons T.F. Marson par son obeissant serviteur M. M. Holloway. Translation; The Chocolate Maid. The Original is part of the Royal Gallery in Dresden Dedicated to Mons T. F. Marson by his obedient servant Mr. M.M. Holloway.
