An original 1842 stipple engraving of the “La Belle Chocolatier√©” by James Posselwhite (1798 1884 engraver) after Jean Etienne Liotard.(1702 1798 artist). Slight foxing to the print otherwise in perfect condition. The inscription below reads;
La Belle Chocolatiere. L’Original faitpartie de la Galerie Royale a Dresdel dedie a Mons T.F. Marson par son obeissant serviteur M. M. Holloway. Translation; The Chocolate Maid. The Original is part of the Royal Gallery in Dresden Dedicated to Mons T. F. Marson by his obedient servant Mr. M.M. Holloway.
